Management activities
In my management and service development experience since 1988 I have served in capacity as a Clinical Leader, Lead Clinician, Associate Medical Director and Medical Director, developed Mental Health Centre, Community Mental Health Teams, Methadone Clinic, Lithium Clinic, Gender Specific Low Secure Female Self Injury Units, Low Secure Rehabilitation and Forensic Units, Neuropsychiatric Acute Organic Units and Local Clinical Guidelines.
I served as a Mentor for Nurse Practitioners and Overseas Doctors.
I was elected Chairman SHCA (Senior Hospital Consultant Association) of North East branch and appointed POWAR (Place of Work Accredited Representative) and member of Executive Committee.
I was awarded Merit Certificate in setting high standards of clinical care.
