After completing my training in medicine, surgery and neurosurgery I came to England in 1972 for Post Graduation Training in Psychiatry and worked as a Senior House Officer, Registrar and Senior Registrar and obtained my Consultant Psychiatric post in 1982 at West Cumberland Hospital in Cumbria.
