Medico-legal work
I was appointed as Specialist for Independent Medical Appeal board, Panel Member for Medical and Professional Services Limited for medical legal reports (MAPS), member of BUPA Expert Panel Witness Management Services, Medreport, Pemex, IMR (Insurance Medical Reporting) and Medical Member of Panel of Examiners for the National Medical Examination Network for War Pensions.
I regularly prepare psychiatric reports for leading firms of solicitors throughout the UK.
After the assessment, I would normally expect to have completed my report within 21 days.
I am experienced in providing reports covering the following areas:
Compensation
• Personal injury
Fitness to plead
• Criminal cases
I have produced reports for the defence and for the prosecution as well as receiving joint instructions.
I have appeared in court on many occasions and given expert evidence.
I will undertake prison visits if possible but require a considerable amount of notice to do this.
